I am a fibre artist who works primarily with my own hand-dyed fabrics, fibres and threads. I enjoy creating unique pieces using various surface design techniques, including mono-printing, marbling, rust dyeing, etc.
In the spring of 2006 my friend Heather and I started this group, ‘Group of Eight Fibre Artists’ or GOE (rhymes with toe) as we refer to ourselves.
In addition to my fibre and mixed media art, I also have a passion for photography and art journalling. Art is relaxing and therapeutic and I make every effort to spend time in my studio each and every day.
